Probation officers seize pot

May 23, 2012 | 0 comments

Joe B. Haehnlein, 24, Iola, was charged with felony possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

On March 28, state probation officers searched Haehnlein's apartment on North Main Street in Iola and reported finding small amounts of marijuana in a plastic sandwich bag, a dresser drawer and an ash tray. They also found pot pipes and suspected drug paraphernalia, according to the criminal complaint.

In August 2010, Judge John Hoffmann placed Haehnlein on four years of probation after Haehnlein was convicted of possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs, battery, resisting an officer, disorderly conduct and bail jumping.
