Theft, bail jumping charged
Stanley G. Baker, 42, Onalaska, was charged with theft and felony bail jumping.
On April 26, Waupaca Police Officer Nicole Hahn spoke with a family living on Western Avenue who said Baker had spent the night at their home.
According to the criminal complaint, when they got out of bed. the following morning, Baker was gone and so were a pair of Nike athletic shoes and some cash. Baker allegedly left behind his old sneakers.
On Nov. 7, 2011, Baker was charged with theft and released on a $2,000 signature bond with the condition that he not commit any crimes.
