Waupaca County sheriff's report
• Oct. 8 - Spools of copper wire and a radiator were stolen from a workshop on the 500 block of Highland Drive, Waupaca.
• Oct. 7 - An Iola resident reported that $2,000 had been taken from his checking account without his authorization.
• Oct. 6 - Ladders, tools and chains were reported stolen from the E10900 block of Hanson Road, Clintonville.
• Oct. 5 - A resident of the N2400 block of County Road K, Waupaca, reported that a checkbook had been stolen from his vehicle.
• Oct. 5 - A BMX bike was reported stolen from the 600 block of Oak Street, Waupaca.
• Oct. 5 - A Waupaca resident reported that his name, phone number and email address had been used for purchasing downloads over the Internet.
• Oct. 5 - A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked car on the 200 block of East Sessions Street, Waupaca.
• Oct. 5 - A burglary was reported at a home on the 100 block of East Ann Street, Weyauwega.
• Oct. 5 - A burglary was reported at a home on the N1100 block of Bricco Road, Iola.
• Oct. 4 - Keys that had been left in an unlocked car on the 100 block of North State Street, Waupaca, were reported missing.
• Oct. 4 - A resident of Bags Hill Road, Lind, reported the theft of a fire number.
Traffic
• Oct. 4 - Gregory T. Grisvold, 54, Waupaca, was taken by ambulance to the hospital after a crash at 5:10 p.m. in the town of Lind.
Grisvold was northbound on County Road A when his car drifted onto the shoulder. He overcorrected and flipped the car.
• Oct. 2 - William A. Rockteschel, 33, New London, required emergency medical transport after a crash at 8:30 p.m. in the town of Caledonia.
Rockteschel was northbound on County Road H when he lost control of his vehicle at the curve near Ernst Road. His vehicle crossed the road and went into the ditch, colliding with a tree.
