Waupaca man charged with sex crime
William H. James, 62, Waupaca, was charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child.
He faces up to 60 years in prison if convicted.
According to the criminal complaint, a 7-year-old girl told police that James "touches me in the wrong places." She said it had been going on for two years.
James was released from custody on a $1,000 cash bond. He is scheduled for an initial appearance in court on Jan. 23.
