Wega teen charged with battery
Michael D.L. Call, 19, Weyauwega, was charged Dec. 6 with substantial battery, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct.
On Oct. 2, Weyauwega police were dispatched to a fight-in-progress near Hanover and East streets. A hysterical child had called 911 and said that someone was beating up his father.
Police spoke with a 40-year-old man who said Call pushed him down and when he got up, Call punched him and choked him.
