Weyauwega man charged with felony drunken driving
Adrian D. Gibbs, 34, Weyauwega, was charged with a fifth offense of operating while intoxicated and operating after revocation.
On Nov. 13, Weyauwega Police Officer Nate Schweitzer was parked on Main and Mill streets when he ran the license plate of a passing vehicle. Records indicated the vehicle had suspended registration due to unpaid parking tickets.
Schweitzer pulled the car over and the driver, identified as Gibbs, did not have a valid driver's license. According to the criminal complaint, Gibbs had a 0.043 blood-alcohol level.
Gibbs has previously been convicted of drinking and driving offenses in April 2001, April 2005, July 2008 and March 2010.
