Woman charged with felony OWI
WAUPACA - Michelle M. Ritchie, 44, Ogdensburg, was charged with felony drunken driving and felony bail jumping.
On Oct. 3, Ritchie was charged with a fifth drunken driving offense in Shawano County Circuit Court. She was released on a $2,000 cash bond with the condition that she have no alcohol and not go into any bars.
On Nov. 13, Manawa Police Officer Michelle Kamba was dispatched to the Midtown Bar after a caller reported that Ritchie was there in violation of her bond.
As she arrived, Kamba noticed a black car squealing its tires as it headed north on South Bridge Street. Kamba asked a woman at the bar about Ritchie and the woman pointed to the black car. Kamba pulled the car over.
According to the criminal complaint, Ritchie had a 0.345 blood-alcohol level. .
