Bike and Skate Safety Clinic

Description:
Kids can learn bicycle safety tips through a fun and interactive clinic being offered Sat., May 12, from 9-11 a.m. at New London Middle School. Children, ages 5-12, can bring their bike or skates and bike helmet to participate in training stations where they learn about, and practice, safe bicycling skills such as starting and stopping, the safe way to exit a driveway, and how to look for traffic, negotiate an intersection and avoid common road hazards. The clinic also includes a safety inspection of bicycles. Participants will also receive a free, fitted Bell helmet. Occurs once: May 12, 2012 (9:00 AM to 11:00 AM)
