Safe Sitters Babysitting COurse - Waupaca

Riverside Medical Center (RMC) is offering a summer session of its Safe Sitter class, equipping teens with the necessary skills to be a babysitter. The program runs for three consecutive days – July 23, 24 and 25 – from 8:45 a.m. to noon. at RMC’s Maasch Education Center. Teens will be required to attend all classes to receive certification. The program, co-sponsored by Riverside Medical Center's Auxiliary, teaches injury prevention and treatment; CPR; basic child-care skills such as diapering and feeding; management of problem behavior; and the business side of babysitting, among other topics. The fee is $25 per child participant. Register the teen's name and put the name of the parent/guardian in the comment section, along with their daytime telephone number.
