Waupaca Community Arts Center - NEW FIBER ARTS CLASSES

Featuring WCAC Resident Fiber Artist Selene Bloedorn-Saeed. A full range of spinning and weaving classes starting in August: beginning with WHEEL SPINNING on 8/25/12 - learn the art of spinning wool yarn on a spinning wheel; ending with DROP SPINDLE SPINNING on 10/20/12 - pleasingly rustic. Spanning these classes is a more demanding 5 session class on WEAVING ON A FLOOR LOOM - taking you through the whole process from measuring the warp, through setting up the loom, to actually producing a sampler which showcases several types of weaving variations.
