Rick Nasby, of Indiana, took home first place for this carving of a Viking. “I came here to give my son Myles the experience of his first competition,” he said. “I guess it all worked out well for both of us.”

This bench, made by Myles Nasby, of Indiana, won second place in the Chain Saw Carving Contest on Sunday. Nasby, who is 20 years old, says “I love what I do and have a lot of fun at it. This is my first competition and I am very proud to have won an award.”
