Ashley Taggart, a member of Country Pride 4-H, Waupaca, taught the audience how to make pompom critters at the demonstration contest. Taggart was selected as an alternate to represent Waupaca County at the Wisconsin State Fair.
Area 4-H Club members took their projects to the Waupaca County Demonstration Contest at the Little Wolf Town Hall. Demonstrations are an opportunity for youths to practice communication skills, planning and organizing, teaching others and gain self-confidence talking in front of a group. Missy Nelson, a Waupaca member of the Country Pride 4-H Club, demonstrated how to do stenciling.
Victoria Philippon, of the Wolf River Rascals 4-H Club, New London, explained how to do felting.
Cassandra Philippon, of the Wolf River Rascals, New London, demonstrated duct tape handbags. Philippon was selected to represent Waupaca County at the Wisconsin State Fair.
