Meyer, Edward O.
Edward O. Meyer, age 85, of Weyauwega, died on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at his residence. He was born on Nov. 2, 1926 in Neenah, son of the late Ernest and Helen (Selle) Meyer. On October 9, 1948 he married Evelyn Herter in Dale. She preceded him in death on October 18, 2001. Ed worked at Sturms in Manawa, Edison Wood Products in New London and held various other jobs. He enjoyed working with wood making birdhouses. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega. Survivors include his children: Edward (Eva) Meyer Jr., Waupaca; Edna (Ronald) Voss, Manawa; Louise (Darrell) Wilber, Wild Rose; Allan (Sandy) Meyer, Illinois; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He is further survived by 2 brothers, 3 sisters, brothers - in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Christian Funeral for Ed was held on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Robbin Robbert and Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial is in Dale Union Cemetery. A visitation for Ed was held directly at the church on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Cline-Hanson-Dahlke, 200 S.
