Silvery K. Spear, age 91, New London passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She was born on February 19, 1921, in Plainfield, WI daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia "Emily" (Hanser) Klubertanz. On December 29, 1945, she was united in marriage to Raymond Spear in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on 03/01/2012. Silvery was a devoted loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and embroidery, camping, hiking, and square dancing. Silvery worked as a clerk in the Sheboygan Shipyard during WWII. Silvery is survived by two daughters, Louise Spear, Los Angeles; Nancy Spear, Minneapolis; a son, Robert (Claire) Spear, New London. Two grandchildren, Jennifer (Jordan) Tews, Greenville and Michael Spear, New London and two great grandchildren, Carter Tews and Calvin Spear. Her parents, husband, four brothers, Clem, Leonard, Frank and Joseph and a sister, Amelia preceded her in death. Funeral services for Silvery were held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home with Rev. Lucretia Fehrmann officiating.
