Cora G. Reeck, age 90 years, of Clintonville passed away Monday, May 21, 2012. She was born on July 2, 1921 in Navarino the daughter of Stewart and Olga (Knoff) Thompson. Cora is survived by four children: Carlyle "Sonny" (Karen) Reeck of Marion, Gerald (Bernice) Reeck of Clintonville, Shirley Vande Ven of Clintonville, and Sandra (Richard) Hidde of Clintonville. There are 14 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother, Kenneth (Norma) Thompson of Clintonville; a sister, Dolly (Kenneth) Seelig-Krueger of Clintonville; a sister-in-law, Edna Johnson of Ogdensburg, and several nieces and nephews. Cora is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emil - 1985; a son-in-law, John Vande Ven; a great grandson, Austin Reeck; one brother, two sisters, and three brothers-in-law. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clintonville. Funeral service was held on Friday, May 25th at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clintonville. Rev. Larry Cross and Rev. Robert Sawall officiated and burial followed at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends called on Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, and on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.
