Heimbruch, William

William P. Heimbruch, age 86, formerly of Royalton died on Friday, July 27, 2012, at Wisconsin Veterans Home, King. Bill was born on January 21, 1926, son of the late Albert and Lisette (Claassen) Heimbruch. He worked at Madison Silos, Skelgas Gas Company and farmed. Bill served his country in the US Navy during WWII and was a member and very active in the American Legion and DAV. He was one of the first to own an Edsel automobile. Bill is survived by nieces and nephews: Cathy (Michael) Ott, Waterford; Becky (Gary) Strike, Neenah; Donna (William) Ringenoldus, Redgranite; and Glenn (Lynn) Heimbruch, Franklin; and many great nieces and nephews who visited him often. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Russell Heimbruch, a niece, Suzanne Heimbruch and a great niece Jacqueline Strike. Funeral services for William will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, 209 W. Cook St., New London. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Hobart Cemetery, Royalton.
