Allie, Ruth M.
Ruth M Allie, age 93, of Fremont, died on Monday, August 6, 2012 at New London Family Medical Center. She was born on April 1, 1919 in Iola, WI, the daughter of the late Frank and Nora (Earll) Jones. She married Edwin Allie on December 16, 1944 in Sturgeon Bay. He preceded her in death on Sept. 14, 1988. Ruth was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Weyauwega. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post 391, Fremont. Ruth and her late husband owned and operated Wolf Ridge Cottages, Fremont, for 26 years. Ruth is survived by 2 sons, Stephen (Linda) Allie, New London, and John (Gail) Allie, Waupaca. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Aaron (Alleigh) Allie, Littleton, Co, and Ann Allie (Max Long), Waupaca and 1 great grandson, Aaron (AJ) Allie. Ruth is further survived by 3 sisters, Anne Meyers, Iola, Mary Osborn, Genoa City, Wi and Norma Clark, Milwaukee, a sister-in-law, May Jones, Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald and 4 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, August 10, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, 200 S. Pine St. Weyauwega, Wi. Rev. Nelson Craig officiating. Burial will be held in Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Wi. Friends may call at First Presbyterian Church on Friday, from 9:00AM until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for the Presbyterian Women.
