President to set record for campaigning on tax dime
Local TV stations carry ads for Democratic candidates Tom Barrett and Kathleen Falk openly promising to open up the taxpayer's wallet and restore to the unions what Gov. Scott Walker has taken away.
Since Wisconsin can't afford this giveaway to unions, perhaps they will do what Jim Doyle did and empty the transportation fund to pay the unions.
All we know for sure is if Democrats win, taxpayers lose.
In President Barack Obama's case, taxpayers lose before the election, as he has already done 191 fundraisers at our expense, compared to a total high of 167 for George W. Bush and 173 for Bill Clinton.
Obama is on course to smash all records for campaigning on the tax dime.
Air Force One costs $60,000 per hour and the Air Force states as of April 2, the White House will have at its disposal three C-130s, seven air crews, 60 maintenance and 12 operational staff from New Castle Air Base in Delaware, plus four C17s, six air crews, 60 maintenance personnel and 12 operational staff from another base in Charleston, S.C.
The president and his staff are constantly fundraising and increasing his carbon footprint at our expense.
Speaking of the ecology racket, Beacon Power of Massachusetts is bankrupt. There goes another Department of Energy loan guarantee of $43 million tax dollars.
Everyone is stirred up about the General Service Office wasting a million on lush junkets to Las Vegas and the Hawaiian Islands, but it's nothing compared to what Obama does to taxpayers day in and day out.
The Obama Administration has increased the number of federal employees by 143,000 in 3 1/2 years, so we can count on ever-increasing waste, fraud and abuse of tax dollars.
Margaret Thatcher said a "problem with socialism is, soon or later you run out of other people's money."

You obviously don't understand how the Air Force operates.
For example, those "60 maintenance staff" can't work on the plane when it's in the air; which makes a large part of your argument DOA. They repair aircraft when they're broken - no matter what the cargo was or will be.
This is what the Air Force had to say about your claim:
Currently, the aircraft already belong to other Air Force units. They will continue to fly troops or supplies into the war theaters or across the country.
In other words, if the president needs his car in Cleveland, the C-130 will get it there, then the plane and crew will go back to flying military missions. That's what "at its disposal" means.
I also suspect that you don't understand the capabilities of a C-130 or C-17.
The 89th Airlift Wing provides transportation to the White House and other senior elected officials; while remaining a COMBAT unit.

I don't think you can prove that every "fundraiser done" was at taxpayer expense. In fact, what happens more often than not, is that the president is traveling on WH business and local politicians take advantage of his visit by holding fundraisers on his (and their) behalf.
