Comet golfers second at first home meet
Berlin outshot Waupaca and four other boys’ golf teams Tuesday, April 17, to win an Eastern Valley Conference meet at the Waupaca Country Club. Team scores were Berlin, 165; Waupaca, 181; Little Chute, 183; Freedom, 194; Winneconne, 195; and Clintonville, 229. Max Hanson led Waupaca with a 43, while Logan Walters carded a 45; Grant Stearns a 46; and Shaun Plunkett and Ben Stone a 47. Little Chute’s Kyle Mulry won medalist honors with a 39.
