T-Bird athletes recruited
Four recent Iola-Scandinavia High School graduates are taking their football talents to the college level. Spencer Erickson has been recruited as a student assistant coach at UW-Oshkosh. "Each year, UW-Oshkosh coach Pat Cerroni recruits eight to 10 student assistant coaches and Spencer made the list," Scott Erickson said. "I am very proud to see him follow the teaching and coaching path as a coach and a father, I couldn’t be more pleased. I am very proud to see another group of excellent Thunderbird football players take their abilities to the next level, it is very rewarding to see them play at the college level."
