Raffle to raise funds for WHS sports
Several one-of-a-kind sports collectibles will be raffled off as a fundraiser for Waupaca High School’s athletic program.
Prizes include authentic footballs autographed by Green Bay Packers Mason Crosby, A.J. Hawk, Clay Matthews and Donald Driver; a photo autographed by Packer B.J. Raji of his touchdown in the NFC Championship Game in January; Packer mini-helmets autographed by Pat Lee, Tramon Williams, Desmond Bishop and Bryan Bulaga; and a Milwaukee Brewers mini-helmet autographed by Ryan Braun.
Proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets will go toward purchasing game uniforms, equipment and technology items.
Raffle tickets will be sold in the high school office and up until halftime of the Comet football game with Ripon Friday, Oct. 7.
Winning tickets will be drawn during the second half of the game and winners do not need to be present to win.
