Iola-Scandinavia didn't have an answer for Jennifer Dowden.
The Bonduel freshman scored a game-high 28 points, pulled down nine rebounds and added seven assists and five steals Friday, Feb. 17, in a 90-44 Central Wisconsin 8 Conference win over the Thunderbirds.
Bonduel scored the game's first 13 points and led 19-8 after one quarter, 40-23 at halftime and 66-31 after three quarters.
The Bears also hit nine of 21 three-pointers. Karisa Pedersen had five of them and scored 21 points, while Morgan Maule hit four and finished with 16 points.
Karina Welch and Elle Maus led the T-Birds with 15 and 11 points, respectively, while Maus shared rebounding honors with Brooke Phillips with seven. Phillips added three assists and three steals, while Paige Berg finished with six rebounds.
The T-Birds wrapped up their nonconference schedule Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Port Edwards and will head to Wittenberg Friday, Feb. 24, for a CWC-8 rematch with the Chargers before closing out the regular season Tuesday, March 1, at home against Stevens Point Pacelli.
