Bonduel girls get the win
Bonduel's girls' basketball team kept pace with Amherst in the Central Wisconsin 8 Conference standings Thursday, Jan. 12, with a 56-37 win over Iola-Scandinavia.
The Bears led 14-10 after one quarter, 33-20 at halftime and 43-26 after three quarters.
Elle Maus and Kylie Johnson led the Thunderbirds with nine and seven points, respectively. Brooke Phillips pulled down a team-high nine rebounds for I-S, while Maus finished with eight.
Jennifer Dowden and Hallie Jiskra led Bonduel with 16 and 10 points, respectively.
The T-Birds hosted Stratford Tuesday, Jan. 17, and will host Wittenberg-Birnamwood Friday, Jan. 20.
