New London girls topped Freedom in the Regional semifinals by a score of 6-4, but came up short against the Little Chute Mustangs in the Regional Finals. A 2-6 loss ended the Lady Bulldogs' season.
New London 6, Freedom 4
Emily Gorges pitched for the win as Lexy Zaddack went 2x4 at the plate. Alanna Beyer had two hits and two RBI as the Bulldogs secured the victory.
Little Chute 6, New London 2
Gorges took the loss as Little Chute broke the game open by scoring four runs in the sixth inning. Gorges led the Bulldogs at the plate, going 2x3. The Bulldogs had seven hits, as did Little Chute. The Mustangs committed three errors, while the Bulldogs had none.
