Chargers slip by Thunderbird boys

School scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Chargers to a 52-50 win over the Thunderbirds Thursday, Jan. 19.
W-B outscored the T-Birds 12-9 in the first quarter, but a 14-12 advantage in the second period helped the T-Birds pull to within 24-23 at halftime.
The Chargers outscored I-S 16-15 in the third quarter and both teams scored 12 points over the final eight minutes.
Bradly Hardel and Connor Lodewegen led the T-Birds with 17 and 12 points, respectively, while Jordan Beyersdorf pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.
I-S hosted Stevens Point Pacelli Tuesday, Jan. 24, and will travel to Shiocton Friday, Jan. 27 for a CWC-8 rematch with the Chiefs.
