Comets fall to Appleton East
Waupaca's baseball team took a 1-0 lead into the fourth inning May 29 of its Division 1 regional semifinal at Appleton East.
However, the Patriots scored four times in the fourth and added three more in the fifth and sixth frames in a 10-6 win over the Comets.
After East took a 4-1 lead into the fifth, the Comets regained the lead with four runs in the fifth.
Beau Ash had two hits to lead Waupaca, which finished with seven hits. Matt Seidl had three of East's 14 hits.
