The Waupaca girls' soccer team picked up recent shutout wins over Clintonville and Ripon.
The Comets defeated Clintonville 3-0 Thursday, April 26, and also handed Ripon a 5-0 defeat Tuesday, April 24.
Waupaca 3, Clintonville 0
WAUPACA - Lizzie Hanke, Jocely Barazza and Mikaila Johnson scored for the Comets, while Hanke, Holly Johnston and Sierra Patzke picked up an assist each.
Waupaca outshot the Truckers 11-0.
Waupaca 5, Ripon 0
RIPON - Waupaca improved to 7-3 on the season with a win on the Tigers' home field.
Hanke and Johnson each scored twice for Waupaca, while Karissa Smith added an unassisted goal.
Patzke, Hanke and Maleva Butkiewicz had an assist in the game.
Waupaca traveled to Berlin Tuesday, May 1, for an Eastern Valley Conference rematch with the Indians.
