Crivitz ends Manawa's season
The Manawa boys' basketball team traveled to Crivitz on Tuesday, Feb. 28 with hopes of continuing their season. It wasn't meant to be, as the Wolves fell 42-35.
The game was close throughout the first three quarters. Crivitz held a slim two point lead after the first quarter. Each team then scored eight points each in the second and third quarters. With Crivitz still holding a slim two point lead entering the final quarter, they outscored Manawa by five points during that time to seal the seven point victory.
Kenny Dearth led Manawa with 12 points followed by Logan Hass with 10 points.
