Foxes, Mustangs stop Truckers
The Trucker boys varsity basketball team couldn't overcome a 22-point halftime deficit and suffered a 49-65 defeat to the Fox Valley Lutheran (FVL) Foxes.
Clintonville was outscored 16-14 in the first quarter and 24-4 in the second quarter. The Truckers outscored the Foxes 13-9 in the third quarter and 18-16 in the fourth quarter but couldn't close the gap.
Xavier Fletcher led the Truckers with 22 points, while Jesse Brauer scored seven and Keaton Anderson scored six. John Schultz tallied five, while Michael Fisher scored three. Aaron Schmidt, Kolin Kubitz and Tyler Sawall all scored two.

The Mustangs held the Truckers to 13 percent shooting and one-of-19 on three-point attempts in picking up the win.
With Clintonville struggling offensively, the Mustangs built a 28-2 halftime lead.
Keaton Anderson and Xavier Fletcher scored three points for Clintonville, while Michael Fisher, John Schultz, Adam Weatherwax and Aaron Ziemer all scored two.
