Lady Trucks fall to Panthers
The Lady Truckers fell behind early against Oconto Falls and could not close the gap, eventually losing a 33-42 contest.
The Panthers outscored the Truckers 14-8 in the first quarter and 11-7 in the second quarter. Clintonville battled back in the third quarter to outscore Oconto Falls 11-7, but the Panthers preserved the win by outscoring the Trucks 10-7 in the final period.
Stacy Reinke, Markiesa Westphal and Hailey Sorenson all scored eight points to lead the Truckers. Dayna Seymour added four, while Brittany Hoffman scored three and Allison Shepard tallied two. Sorenson had two 3-pointers, while Reinke and Hoffman both hit one from beyond the arc.
Clintonville made 7 of 10 free throws (70 percent).
The Lady Truckers will play at home on Friday, Feb. 3, against Little Chute. Opening tip is set for 7:15 p.m.
