Manawa grapplers downed by Bonduel
The Manawa wrestling team traveled to Bonduel on Thursday, Jan. 26 and took one on the chin, falling 70 to 7 as a team.
Christian Bertram and Garret Griffin each won their matches. Bertram beat Kyle Godin by decision in the 138-pound weight class. Griffin won by major decision over Austin Henn in the 152-pound weight class.
Nick Swenson, Cole Thompson, Cody Wildenburg, Jacob Frenche and Brad Grimm were each pinned, while Casey Johnson lost by major decision.
The Manawa wrestling team will host Oconto on Thursday, Feb. 2 in its last home match of the season.
