Ripon tops Waupaca softball team
Ripon ended the season for the Waupaca Comet softball team May 29 by handing the Comets a 4-1 loss in a Division 2 regional semifinal.
The Tigers scored all the runs they needed early with two in the first inning and two more in the second. Waupaca picked up a run in the top of the third, but couldn't get any closer.
