T-Birds fall to Wolves
Wisconsin Valley Lutheran handed Iola-Scandinavia a 44-33 loss Tuesday, Dec. 20, in a nonconference boys' basketball matchup.
The Thunderbirds took a 13-10 lead into the second quarter and led 22-20 at halftime, but were held to 11 points in the second half.
Jordan Beyersdorf led the T-Birds with 14 points and Bradly Hardel added 12.
The T-Birds are competing today (Thursday, Dec. 29) and Friday, Dec. 30, at a tournament at Owen-Withee High School in Owen. I-S will play Stratford at 5:45 tonight and take on the host Blackhawks at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 30.
