Truckers 3rd at Charger Invite
The Clintonville High School wrestling team placed third out of 11 teams last Saturday at the Charger Invite in Wittenberg.
The Truckers placed behind Rhinelander in second and Wittenberg-Birnamwood in first.
At 106 lbs., Cody Guyette finished in fifth place. At 113 lbs., Kelsey Raasch finished in sixth place. At 120 lbs., Kelvyn Van Laarhoven finished in third place. At 126 lbs., Dustin Zarnoth finished in third place. At 132 lbs., Payton Dimick finished in third place. At 138 lbs., Jared Henschel finished in second place. At 145 lbs., Coy Hansen finished in sixth place. At 170 lbs., Marcus Engel finished in seventh place. At 182 lbs., Jake Reiter finished in first place. Others who did not place were Tim Jerabek who went 1-3 at 132 lbs., Jake Van Allen who went 1-2 at 138 lbs., Mike Klemp who went 0-2 at 145 lbs., Shayne Collar who went 1-2 at 152 lbs., Charlie Poppe who went 1-2 at 170 lbs. and Lucas Carrigg who went 2-2 at 220 lbs.
The Truckers have two duals during the week of January 9-13. Tuesday the Truckers travel to Ripon and on Thursday Waupaca comes to Clintonville. Dual times start at 6:30 p.m. for JV and 7 p.m. for Varsity.
