Truckers earn 61-53 win over Panthers
The Truckers used a strong second half to earn a win over Oconto Falls on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
The Panthers led 13-12 after one quarter, but Clintonville battled back in the second to take a 27-26 lead at the half.
The Truckers outscored the Panthers 16-9 in the third quarter, and both teams scored 18 in the final frame to preserve the Trucker victory.
Aaron Ziemer led the Truckers with 18 points, while Kolin Kubitz scored eight. Adam Weatherwax added seven, and John Schultz scored five, as did Jesse Brauer.
Aaron Schmidt, Bryce Schoen and Mike Fisher each scored four, and Xavier Fletcher, Tyler Sawall and Nathaniel Krueger all added two.
The Truckers were 23 of 47 (48 percent) from the field and 5 of 18 (27 percent) from 3-point range. The Team made 10 of 23 (43 percent) from the free throw line.
Clintonville pulled down 22 rebounds and had 16 steals.
The Truckers will host Little Chute on Friday at 7:15 p.m.
