Wolf River clean up July 21

July 18, 2012 | 0 comments

The Wolf River Preservation Association is planning their annual River Clean Up for July 21. Anyone interested in keeping the waterway clean and free of debris is more than welcome to join.

The group will meet at New London's Riverside Park at 7:30 a.m. and will be cleaning up as much as possible down river towards Fremont. The last shift will end around 4 p.m. but boats will be coming back to Riverside periodically if participants would like to only help for a certain number of hours. Lunch, Snacks and drinks will be provided by the Association.

Attendees should dress for the weather, bring work gloves, wear close-toed shoes and work clothes. If interested please call the New London Parks and Recreation Department at 920-982-8521 or Mike Klatt at 920-851-8744 for more information.
