On Sunday, August 15, our dog, "Dixie", escaped her kennel while we were at church. We spent a few hours calling, looking, hopping she would return. She wasn't picked up by the police and had not turned up at the Humane Society. The remarkable thing was that as we started asking people if they had seen the runaway dog they became incredibly helpful. So thank you to the kind folks at Riverside Park for all your help! Thank you to the people who live around LeRoy Butler Ford! Thank you to LeRoy for letting Dixie hang out with him for a while and for helping us look for her after she ran off from the dealership. Thank you to the kind family that picked her up! We are happy to live in such a community of helpful people! The Holtan family and Dixie
