New Library?
Help the Library and Museum plan their future
The New London Public Library and New London Public Museum are hosting two focus groups on May 2 and May 10, everyone is invited. The UW-Extension office in Waupaca developed the focus groups for the library and museum to get public input on the future of the two organizations. Sign up today to get your voice heard. The focus groups will meet at the library on Wednesday May 2 at 1:00 PM and on Thursday May 10 at 7:00 PM. The meetings will take about one hour. Contact the library at 982-8519 or ahunt@mail.owls.lib.wi.us to sign up today!
The purpose of the focus groups is to get a better understanding of the community needs that the library and museum are able to address. We want to know how the organizations can best address our community’s needs and how we can create an environment of discovery for our community now and well into the future. All ideas are on the table including building a new, more functional library and allowing the museum to take over the current historic building. But we can’t move forward until we know what our community wants. Please plan on attending one of the focus groups and help these vital community organizations better serve you and future generations. Get your voice heard!
