Rug Hooking Hook-In
Heart of Wisconsin Rug Hooking Guild is sponsoring their annual Fall Hook-In on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Waushara County WWII Memorial Hall 440 West Main Street, Wautoma, Wisconsin, (corner of Hwys. 73,21,22) The doors will open at 9:00 A.M. and close at 3:00 P.M. This is a day in which Rug Hookers from all over the state come together to shop at the vendors, share their rug hooking projects with others and spend time hooking on their projects while visiting with friends.
Vendors will be selling wool material, rug hooking patterns, penny rug patterns, and rug hooking tools. A buffet lunch will be served at noon. The cost of the lunch and registration is $15.00. During the day there will be a silent auction, demonstrations on rug hooking, a rug show, and drawings. Coffee and snacks will be served in the morning. This is a great opportunity for people to come and find out what rug hooking is all about. There will be opportunities to view a lesson on rug hooking and to try the art of rug hooking first hand.
