Jeanne Leigh Christenson and Patrick Ryan Peterson announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jean and the late John Christenson, of Clintonville. She is a 2007 graduate of Weyauwega-Fremont High School and worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King until May 2010. She currently is enlisted in the U.S. Navy.
The future groom is the son of Emil and Wendy Peterson. He is a 2007 graduate of Waupaca High School and is currently employed at Gray Hill in Iola.
The couple were engaged for marriage on June 25, 2010, at the Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill. They plan to be married on July 24, 2010, before leaving for the state of Washington.
