Klebba, Jerome J.

Jerome J. Klebba, age 79, of Fremont, died on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at his home in Fremont. He was born on November 19, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Bernard and Elvera (Blazek) Klebba. Jerry served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. On August 15, 1986, Jerry married Barbara McKnight in Milwaukee. He worked as a truck driver and retired from TNT Holland after 38 years of driving and was a member of the Teamsters Local 200 in Milwaukee. Jerry later worked as a maintenance man for Citgo in Fremont. He enjoyed building remote control airplanes, hunting, fishing and spending time at his retirement home in Pickerel. Jerry is survived by his wife, Barb; a son, Dean (Carrie), Wind Lake, WI; a daughter, Deena (Dannie) Lauer, Atlanta, GA; two step-sons, John (Melanie) Werner, Waukesha and Jeffrey (Michelle) Werner, Hartford; 11 grandchildren, Brenda Baranowski, Chad (Jennifer) Klebba, Brad Klebba, Kevin & Steve Voelker, Mandie Stutz, Christopher (Anna) Werner, Aubrey (TJ) Vilman, Chelsea Werner, Jenna & Jacob Werner; four great-grandchildren, Paige & Allison Klebba, Clayton Vilman and Muriah Werner, a sister Patricia (Mike) Brooks, Oconomowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy (Chancey) Dunday and Charlotte Klebba. A memorial service will be held for Jerry on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at the Lewin Funeral Home in Fremont. Pastor Bob Ohlson will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. “Military graveside rites and inurnment will be conducted at Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in King.” A memorial fund has been established. Jerry’s family would like to thank the staff at Cherry Meadows and the wonderful staff from Waupaca County that gave jerry such wonderful care during his final days at home.
