School board to set goals

WEYAUWEGA – The Weyauwega-Fremont School Board is working to establish goals and plans to bring the goals forward during the school district’s annual meeting, which will be held Monday, Oct. 25.

During a Committee of the Whole meeting Monday, Sept. 20 in the middle school library, the board worked with the district administration team to discuss goals.

They agreed on three themes: school/community relations, student programming/achievement and fiscal responsibility.

Parents of students in the district and staff submitted goals, which the board used in determining what the goals should be.

District Administrator Scott Bleck told the board that the administrative team will now create statements that incorporate the various ideas that make up each of the three themes.

Those statements will then be sent to board members for feedback before being presented during the Oct. 25 annual meeting.
