David J. Davies, age 68, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at his residence. David was born on September 26, 1942, to Richard and Margaret (Doyle) Davies, in Waupaca. David served in the National Guards for 6 years. He married Sandra Lauten on October 3, 1964 in Waupaca. David worked for Kimberly Clark for 38 years before retirement. He enjoyed golfing, watching his favorite soap “Young and the Restless”, being with his family and going to restaurants. David is survived by his wife, Sandra Davies, Waupaca, WI; son, Jason (Sarah) Davies, Waupaca, WI; daughter, Lori (Kirk) Nielsen, Waupaca, WI; brother, James (Sandra) Davies, Montello, WI; granddaughter, Kristina Nielsen, Waupaca, WI; grandson, Brandon Nielsen, Waupaca, WI, great-granddaughters, Zoe and Willow Nielsen, Waupaca, WI; numerous nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers, Richard and Danny Davies. A private burial will be held in Wolf River Cemetery in Fremont at a later date.
