Bellile, Carl L.

Carl L. Bellile,age 83, of New London, passed away on Thursday October 7, 2010, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 16, 1926, in the Township of Hortonia, son of the late Lester & Elsa (Roepke) Bellile. On July 2, 1949, he was united in marriage to Doris Warning in New London. She preceded him in death in 2004. Carl worked for Wisconsin Bell for 39 years retiring in 1986. He formerly served on the New London City Council for several years. He was a lifetime member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and was known to volunteer his time. He loved to fish the Wolf River, bowling, dancing, and watching the Packers and the Brewers. Carl served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a WWII Submarine Veteran and a lifetime member of the VFW. Carl is survived by 5 daughters and one son: Pauline (Randy) Wetmore, New London; Patricia (Terry) Fellner, Appleton; Linda (Doug) Hines, Iola; Cindy (Dave) Demming, Colorado; Carleen Biesterveld, Darboy; Jeff Bellile (Tracey Duch), Waunakee; 12 grandchildren: Corey (Wendy) Fellner, Shana (Tony) Herzfeldt, Angela (Jeremy) Bellile, Amanda (Tom) Darden, Ashley (Matt) Gunderson, Tyler Hines, Shaon Hines, Kayla Demming, Ben Demming, Peyton Biesterveld, Garret Biesterveld, Conner Bellile and Hayden Bellile; 6 great grandchildren: Shannon, Sabrina and Sydney Darden, Brayden and Hannah Bellile, and Landon Fellner; sister: Dorothy Jackson, New London. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and also his dog Shelby.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 4 sisters numerous brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws and a son-in-law Rick Biesterveld. The Christian Funeral for Carl was held on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. Marcus Schulz officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Hortonville with Full Military Honors. Friends called at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London on Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 4-7 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established.
