Jennerjohn, Herman

Herman J. (H.J.) Jennerjohn, Greenville. Age 83, was called to his eternal home on Saturday October 9, 2010. He passed away peacefully at home following a long illness with his family by his side. He was born on April 3, 1927 in the Town of Hortonia, the son of Herman and Irene (Conradt) Jennerjohn. He was a faithful lifelong member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Greenville where he was baptized and confirmed. On November 9, 1957 Herman was united in marriage to Grace Pribbernow at Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Maple Creek. Grace was called to her eternal home on February 22, 2001. Herman was a well known Auctioneer and Realtor for 63 years having graduated from Reisch Auctioneer School in 1947 but his true love was farming. Herman loved farming, fishing and hunting. He was a loving Christian father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors include his children: Mark Jennerjohn, Greenville, Christine Jennerjohn, Greenville, Herman Joseph (Susan) Jennerjohn, Shiocton, Laurie Jennerjohn, Greenville and Barry (Tracy) Jennerjohn, Hortonville; grandchildren: Melony, Kimberly, Adam and his fiancee Alisha Jawson, and Alex Jennerjohn; Alyssa, Jordan, Jacob and Alana Jennerjohn; Brenton and Lauron Hinch; Casey Theobald; great grandson: Aiden Jennerjohn; sister: Rosemary Kabble, two sisters-in-laws Lorene Kusserow and Ruby Schroeder; special Friends: Pat and John Schmalz and Jonathan Handschke. Many nieces, nephews and cousins further survive him. He will also be missed by his cat Minnie. He was preceded in death by his wife Grace (Pribbernow) Jennerjohn, his parents Herman and Irene (Conradt), sister Winona Bradley, and brothers Harland and Carlton Jennerjohn. The Christian Funeral for Herman was held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church (W7265 School Road) in Greenville with Rev. David Scharf officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends called AT THE CHURCH on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and also on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A special thank you to the staff at Theda Care at Home Hospice and the BrightStar nurses for their compassionate care – Debbie, Ina, Elisha and Amanda.
