Families challenged to read

Area families are being challenged to read during the month of November.

In celebration of 100 years of service, the Sturm Memorial Library is sponsoring a special monthly programming through May 2011. For the month of November, 100 families are being challenged to read for 100 minutes.

So gather your family after supper or just before bedtime or on a rainy November day and start reading. You can each read your own favorite book or have a family member read aloud to the group or listen to books on tape in the car. Just read!

When you have completed 100 minutes, come to the library. All families who complete the challenge will add a paper quilt piece to the library’s All in the Family quilt. In addition, each family will be eligible to win the family gift basket of goodies.
