Program helps children develop social skills

A three-session program to help children build their social skills is slated for 6:30 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 8, Nov. 15 and Nov. 22, at the Waupaca Family Resource Center, 515 School St.

The program is for children ages 4 through 8 and their parents. The children will learn how to control their tempers, settle conflicts and get along with others through games and activities.

Marilyn Herman, the family living specialist with the University of Wisconsin Extension office in Waupaca County, will lead the program.

Free child care will be available for children age 2 and older.

Registration is available by calling 715-256-1621 and leaving a message, or sending an e-mail to [email protected] with information on the number of adults and children attending, name, address, phone and any allergies the children may have.
