Candy for Troops announces winners

Area children donated more than 275 pounds of candy to the 2010 Candy for Troops Drive.

Dr. William Twohig in Weyauwega and Culver’s Restaurant in Waupaca participated in this year’s program.

The following participants won prizes:

•Brianna Macijeski, Tundra Lodge with four water park passes, donated by Twohig.

•Kaitlyn Appleby, Wii, donated by area sponsors.

•Taylor Brazil, boat rental, donated by Fremont Water Sports.

•Karlie Grundman, electric guitar, donated by R&H Liquidators.

•Ella Thomsen, Best Western with four water park passes, donated by Waupaca Best Western.

•Jaden Rice, digital video camera, donated by area sponsors.

•Mara Abrahamson, two nine holes of golf with a cart, donated by Weymont Run Golf Course.

•Brock Brunner, health club and gift certificates, donated by JR’s Sportsman’s Bar, Ted’s Grandview, and Health and Fitness Headquarters.

•Allison Nowak, health club and gift certificates, donated by JR’s Sportsman’s Bar, Ted’s Grandview, and Health & Fitness Headquarters.

•Cole Hudziak, pizza party, donated by Animal Haven Zoo.

•Parents of Sam Peterson, Make Your Home Beautiful Package, donated by Flooring Express, Gold ‘n Country Gifts and River Song Studios.
