Breier, Clara E.

Clara E. Breier, Waupaca, formerly of Weyauwega, age 98, died on Wednesday, December 08, 2010. Clara was born on December 31, 1911, in Weyauwega, daughter of the late Henry and Hulda (Zabel) Wurzbach. She graduated from Weyauwega High School in 1930 and from Oshkosh Teachers College in 1932. On July 6, 1939, Clara was united in marriage to John Breier in Manawa. He preceded her in death on June 14, 1997. She was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Weyauwega and also the Ladies Aid. Clara enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and traveling. She is survived by nieces, nephews, a sister-in-law, Yvonne Davidson, other relatives and friends. Her parents, husband and three brothers, Frederick, Walter and Otto preceded her in death. The Christian Funeral for Clara was held on Monday, December 13, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Weyauwega with Rev. Dennis Lemke and Rev. Robbin Robbert officiating.. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. Visitation was held at the church Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Weyauwega.
