Charles A. Ketner, 40, Waupaca, was charged Jan. 18 with felony operating while intoxicated. If convicted, it would be his fourth offense in five years.
Shortly before 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department received a call regarding a suspicious vehicle on Edminster Road in Farmington. When Deputy Chad Repinski arrived at the scene, he reported finding a Jeep Grand Cherokee parked at the intersection with its lights on and the engine running. After brushing the snow off the license plate, Repinski discovered that the plate had expired in November 2010.
A preliminary breath test indicated that Ketner had a 0.17 BAC.
